The Ex9BI series of switch disconnectors is designed for a wide range of applications. These devices also combine the function of a maneuvering device that can disconnect circuits under load, also in the event of a disturbance, and perform an insulating function. They are available in versions from 1 to 4 poles. The width of 1 module corresponds to 1 pole. An innovation is the possibility of mounting accessories to Ex9BI switches. Importantly, they are identical to those that can be mounted to standard Ex9BN(H) circuit breakers, including: AX type auxiliary contacts - reflecting the status of the switch, AL type auxiliary activation contacts - informing about the automatic operation of the switch by means of remote triggering with a shunt release; SHT shunt releases - which, after applying a voltage of an appropriate value, trip the disconnector, undervoltage releases UVT - which, in the normal state, must be supplied with a voltage of an appropriate value, and after its subtraction, they trip the disconnector, overvoltage releases OVT - which, in a normal state, must be supplied with a voltage of an appropriate value, and after exceeding its maximum permitted value, they trip the disconnector.
